100 Days of Chalamet (and friends)

This project started because I became frustrated that I could not draw Timothee Chalamet, he of the quirky, slightly asymmetrical jawline, and prodigious acting prowess. Little Women by Greta Gerwig has got to be one of my favourite movies of all time. I cried ugly and hard. Thanks, M for that lovely and much-needed outing!

So, here is my process for all to see, and here, I’m using tips I learned through Gabriella Niko’s excellent face and head-drawing course on Domestika. Perhaps I’ll have enough material for the final project after I finish this, and I fully reserve the right to get bored of drawing good old Timothee’s face, pivot to drawing people he’s associated with (such as the cast of aforementioned movie). I also fully reserve the right stop for a bit, and pick up again if life is crazy. Hope I learn something, either way, I practice every day, even if it’s to draw and hatch-shade a lip. Hope it’s of interest to people who like seeing drawn portraits!
