Days 22-25 ish, a concert, first plein air!

While working on the commission for SE, I also tried my best to keep up my daily face drawing practice. While the following are not all faces, I chose to include the lunchbox as one day because time is at a premium, and I was super glad I drew that day.

I also ventured out on my first plein air excursion! I didn't know what to expect, but I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised. I found the experience wholly enjoyable (apart from the mosquitoes). I thought it wise to keep my painting small,  a great chance to use my Paul Rubens sketchbook I received for my birthday, and everything turned out just fine. I wandered onto the cemetery at Historic St. Mary's in Kensington, PEI, where their refurbished church is the home of the summer-long Under the Spire Music Festival. Big bonus, I also got to see Archetype Trad who were playing when I was there, and that was glorious.

Archetype Trad inside Historic St. Mary's. Beautiful music, beautiful venue.

I have some finished work ideas I really would like to work on ASAP, and of course, drawing in my sketchbook for my #100daysofChalamet.

Until then,

Mikhai
