Commission from SE; some life updates!

I must say, I'm very, very happy indeed to share this finished work. I was approached by S, a friend from university, to do this commission as a present for her brother who recently got married. 

So honoured to have been asked to paint such a precious moment!! I really enjoyed this one. Thanks for the ask, S!

Here's what it looked like with just the water-soluble graphite which I then sprayed with water to set.

In other news, I have been slowly but surely working on my face studies, and drawing practice, which are going slower these days because we are expecting our fourth child! The first trimester was very challenging indeed, and the second, a little better, but still with its own set of trials. Pray for us! I hope to finish day 22-25 of my face / drawing studies, and post about that soon, but until then, take care!
