WIP: Banshees of Inisherin still

 

This is a rendering in pencil of a still from the movie Banshees of Inisherin starring Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson. Another great opportunity to practice with water-soluble graphite. 

The movie itself is kinda strange, and I wouldn't recommend watching it if you want something light. It sticks in you and offers no easy answers to the questions you may have while watching. Nevertheless, the scenery is amazing and the cinematography is very well done. Brendan Gleeson, who I first watched in the excellent 2014 movie Calvary, is always a delight. I really enjoy his pairing with Colin Farrell.
